Karbonn Smart Tab 1 Main Features
It is a powerful competition to the tablets that are already present in the market. The device has extreme gaming abilities and also allows for a super fast browsing experience. 3G data cards can also be used on the device for faster web browsing as you go and has excellent display.
The tablet is a wi-fi only tablet and cannot be used for voice telephony. The device has a 1.2 Ghz processor with an integrated GPU for 3D gaming experience. It also has an accelerometer and an Xburst chipset. The Karbonn Smart tablet runs on the latest version of the Google’s Android Operating System, with the Android 4.1 Ice Cream Sandwich powering the device. It has a 512 Mb of RAM and 1 GB of internal memory. The device is capable of expandable storage and you can extend the storage up to 32 GB.

The display of the device is very good. It has 7 inch capacitive touch screen which makes navigation very easy. The display is TFT with a capacitive multitouch and 16M colors. The resolution of the tablet is 800x 400 and a pixel count of 133 pixels per inch. It has full micro-USB v2.0 port for connecting external devices. The device however, doesn’t support GPS. The audio of the device makes for a decent sound with stereo speakers. It also is capable of full HD recording with 1080p and a playback of 30fps. The video formats that are supported include MPEG-4, Xvid, WMV, H.263 and H.264. The battery is also a good 3700 mAh and gives a music play of up to 25 hours and video play of almost 8 hours.

Among the useful applications that come built in with the device include the Think Free Office which is very handy for business users. Then there is karbonn Smart browser that enables comfortable browsing experience. Other built in apps include like Times of India, Nimbuzz, JustDial , Gmail, Google Talk , Google Search, Youtube, Google Maps and Android Market. Also you can find some useful applications like Adaptxt, Paytm and MSN/Skype.
There is a full Adobe Flash Support and Predictive text input that is usually found on Smartphones. The device is currently available only in black color.
